The installation steps for the sliding gate floor track track are as follows:
Lay the track section by section, welding a short segment (approximately 30mm) of a diameter 8mm round tube at one end of each track section, leaving 15mm exposed and welding 15mm to ensure they connect end-to-end (the length of each track section can be customized according to customer requirements, with a maximum recommended length of no more than 6 meters), the sliding door wheel track material should be 2.5mm or 3mm thick hot-dip galvanized steel strip.
Use the provided track connectors (which can be purchased by you or through our company), which help align the track: if using a motor-driven sliding door, it can provide a channel for wires when needed, allowing for power supply or connection to a safety beam without having to excavate under the driveway, but under the track. (Our company offers motor products, if you need one, please contact a salesperson, we will recommend a verified specification based on your door weight).
Make sure there are enough track connectors at both ends of the track, and that the wires are positioned in the center of the track.
Align and connect the two ends of the track.
When drilling the first hole (using a 6mm diameter drill bit), ensure that the required depth is reached. A hammer drill with a masonry bit is required.
Once the hole depth is reached, insert the expansion screw into the hole and hammer it in so that the screw expands in the hole, thereby securely fixing the ground track. (If expansion screws are needed, our company can also provide them).
Continue drilling the remaining 4 holes.
Once all holes are drilled and fixed, the track should look as shown in the diagram. It is recommended to drill holes and secure with fasteners on the part of the track that will be driven over by vehicles, but behind the fence, it is sufficient to fix every other hole.
